Penn Discovers Unique (Blood) Plasma Properties

Some local Philly science news! Click the link to learn about how plasma is surprisingly more elastic and thicker than water. This came as a shock because a large component of plasma is water, so why would they vary so much in properties? Penn researchers are investigating the implications of the complex fluid and its impact on blood pressure and vessels.
